Classification Talk via ZOOM
Apr 21, 2021 12:00 PM
For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” that restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club. This ensured that each club reflected the community in which it served and was a method used to avoid having one profession become the dominant voice of Rotary Clubs.
Over time, these restrictions gave way, but individual classification continues to be of great interest to your fellow club members. That’s why your Rotary badge carries your name and your classification.
Classification talks help us learn about the life experiences and professional backgrounds of new members – but they are not intended to “pitch” your profession for individual gain. We look forward to learning more about each of you in the coming months!

Classification Talks
Aug 18, 2021 12:00 PM
Location: The Waterfront at Snake River Landing For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” that restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club.

This is a recurring event to be held on the last Friday of each month throughout 2021. Your D5400 membership team is partnering with our D5400 e-Club to host a monthly district-wide social event. Grab your favorite beverage and join us for fun and fellowship! Stay as long (or as little) as you like. It's a great opportunity to connect with old friends and make some new ones, too. You never know what kind of shenanigans a Zoom Room full of Rotarians will get up to! |
