Fellow Rotarians,
Rotary’s theme for August is Membership, so it’s the perfect time to be thinking about who is missing at our Rotary Lunches. Our club goal for membership is 125 members this year, and we now at 117 members. Who do you know that would be a good fit to join this great fellowship, that already exemplifies “Service above Self”? Our club is the largest Rotary Club in the state of Idaho, but we still have room for many more friends. By continuing to grow our club we continue to increase our community impact. This impact is proven through the incredible work that our Club has accomplished since our inception in 1918. Most Rotary Clubs do not accomplish projects like $6.5 million in greenbelt development in their communities. This is something to be incredibly proud of and this club has completed so much more than that. If you are not aware of the many projects our club has completed, take a look at page 49-51 in our club roster, it gives a brief description of our projects over decades of time. More club members equivalates to greater impact.
So, let’s do it! Let’s invite more high integrity, business professionals, friends, family, and retirees to join us. If each of us looked at our sphere of influence I bet, we could find several people to join us for lunch and see if our club is the right fit for them. In short, I hope you feel proud to be a part of this incredible service club and want to share it with those you know. Join me in expanding our impact through growing our club!
