Wednesday's Program: Classification Talks with Greg Crockett & Karen Baker

Location: The Waterfront in Snake River Landing

For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” that restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club. This ensured that each club reflected the community in which it served and was a method used to avoid having one profession become the dominant voice of Rotary Clubs.
Over time, these restrictions gave way, but individual classification continues to be of great interest to your fellow club members. That’s why your Rotary badge carries your name and your classification.
Classification talks help us learn about the life experiences and professional backgrounds of new members – but they are not intended to “pitch” your profession for individual gain. We look forward to learning more about each of you in the coming months!
Success! 2021 Duck Race
Thank you for making this year's event so amazing!
The Duck Race was a HUGE success thanks to you! All 19,000 ducks were adopted, and adopted earlier than usual. More than $83,000 was raised, all of which goes right back into the development the city's newest park - Heritage Park - along the River Walk Greenbelt! Thank you to ALL the sponsors, volunteers, Rotary Club members, vendors, and community members for supporting this event year after year. We can't wait to see again next year!
