Our new year for Rotary is here and I am so honored to fill the role as your president through June of 2024. As I take the gavel and responsibility to lead this amazing club of Rotarians, sitting next to me will be Kristin Sanger as our President Elect and Stephen Boorman as Vice President. Historical to our heritage, our leadership bench is deep with committed and generous Rotarians who live the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.
The 2023 – 2024 year theme set by our new International President, Gordon R McInally is: Create Hope in the World. I am energized and motivated to put these words and this sentiment into action in our community and across the international waters as we continue to support projects in communities far from our Idaho home.
Our July 12th lunch program will include a full agenda from start to finish with activity. We will swear in a few new board members and say goodbye to a few incredible board members. I will line out for our Club the goals and focus for the next year and ask you to make a commitment alongside me to help us reach those goals collectively together. I am optimistic about the opportunity to affect and care for our community and provide a space for friendship each week.
Join me to imagine what Rotary can be and where we can go together. Please come along, share and ask questions. I look forward to seeing you the 12th and look forward to what we will do together.
We will be installing our new Officers and Board Members for the July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024 year.
June is Rotary International "New Year, New Leadership" month.
