Classification Talks Via Zoom
April 21, 2021 @ Noon
Featuring Kevin King & Mike O'Bleness

For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” that restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club. This ensured that each club reflected the community in which it served and was a method used to avoid having one profession become the dominant voice of Rotary Clubs.

Over time, these restrictions gave way, but individual classification continues to be of great interest to your fellow club members. That’s why your Rotary badge carries your name and your classification.
Classification talks help us learn about the life experiences and professional backgrounds of new members – but they are not intended to “pitch” your profession for individual gain. We look forward to learning more about each of you in the coming months!

It's District Raffle Time!
The Triple Grand Prize is $4500 of AAA travel to the winner, $4500 of AAA travel to seller of the winning ticket and $4500 cash to the seller's club. That totals $13,500!
We're asking each Rotarian to sell 10 District raffle tickets!  If you are inactive Rotarian; hopefully you still have enough Rotary in your heart to support our raffle.

It is the only major fundraiser of the District. Every club and every Rotarian is obligated to participate. The purchase of least one $10  ticket (or a book 10), isn't too much to ask from every Rotarian.

  • The Triple Grand Prize is $4500 of AAA travel to the winner, $4500 of AAA travel to seller of the winning ticket and $4500 cash to the seller's club. That totals $13,500!
  • The second prize is a condo for a week in Puerta Vallarta and $1000 toward airfare.
  • The third prize is $500 at Best Buy.
The raffle proceeds go the District's Paul Harris matching points program, the exchange student program and to your club (if your club has one representative log onto the District Celebration).

Please purchase your tickets by May10th; so that your club can mail them on time.  Please contact Rotarian Aaron Johnson at aaron.johnson@bateman-hall.com to purchase your tickets.
