Wednesday's Program: Classification Talks with Arthur Kull &  Jan Karinen

Location: The Waterfront in Snake River Landing

Classification Talks with Arthur Kull and Jan Karinen.  For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” that restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club. This ensured that each club reflected the community in which it served and was a method used to avoid having one profession become the dominant voice of Rotary Clubs.

Over time, these restrictions gave way, but individual classification continues to be of great interest to your fellow club members. That’s why your Rotary badge carries your name and your classification.
Classification talks help us learn about the life experiences and professional backgrounds of new members – but they are not intended to “pitch” your profession for individual gain. We look forward to learning more about each of you in the coming months!

With the flu and cold season upon us and as Covid-19 cases continue to climb, please help us keep our club and community healthy by staying home if you do not feel well. Handwashing or using hand sanitizer, physical distancing, and following other CDC recommendations are also encouraged. Taking proper precautions now will allow us to continue in-person fellowship. Thank you!
