Funland has been a gem in Idaho Falls since 1947; a place where countless people have smiled together, laughed together and have had a moment of fun. Now it’s time to preserve this piece of history, this vibrant, fun connecting piece in the fabric of our community.

Program Chairs Needed

Have you ever wondered how we’re able to schedule such incredible speakers to present to our Club? Is there an organization that you’d love to see present to our Club?

Now is your opportunity!

We’re seeking volunteers to serve as monthly Program Chairs. Program Chairs are responsible for scheduling two speakers over the course of their chosen month. Each Program Chair will be provided with the necessary details that will make their scheduled speakers shine!

Downtown Idaho Falls Rotary Club Cares

Sneak Peek into April Programs

You’ll notice a new monthly program starting in April entitled, “Classification Talks.”

For decades Rotary International listed a range of professional “classifications” and restricted how many representatives of each could be in a club. This ensures that each club reflects the community in which it serves. It also reminds us to not have one profession as a dominant voice in our club. Over time, these restrictions have pretty much given way, but your classification continues to be of great interest to your fellow club members. That’s why your Rotary badge carries your name and your classification.

Classification talks help us learn about the life experiences and professional backgrounds of new members – but they are not intended to “pitch” your profession for individual gain.
