Rotarians -

For those who have not heard the heartbreaking news, Tim Hopkins died unexpectedly on Friday, April 23 at the age of 85.

Many in this community have been mourning the loss of a well-respected attorney, professional mentor, public citizen and dear friend. Tim was a man known for embodying our Rotary motto of "Service Above Self."  His immeasurable contributions to this community will be part of his extraordinary lasting legacy. Tim has been a member of our club for 53 years, serving in may roles including president. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all the many people he knew and undoubtedly impacted in some way.

In memory of Tim's honorable character, may we regularly recall the Four-Way Test, our club's ethical guide.  The test asks of the things we think, say and do:

Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

We will miss you, Tim! Rest in peace, our dear friend.
