The Rotary Club of Idaho Falls was established on February 4, 1918 at the Eleanor Hotel. Today, there are 150 active members.

In addition to the long-standing commitment to improvements along the Greenbelt and River Walk in Idaho Falls and the annual Duck Race event, the Idaho Falls Rotary Club has been active in many elements of international service and missions associated with Rotary International.

Idaho Falls Rotarians individually have contributed more than $670,000 to the Rotary Foundation, which transforms gifts into service projects that change lives, both in our community and around the world.

Those service projects fall within six areas of focus: 1) peace and conflict resolution; 2) disease prevention and treatment; 3) water and sanitation; 4) maternal and child health; 5) basic education and literacy; 6) and economic and community development.
