Making Idaho Falls Home: How Increased Programming at the Museum of ID Encourages Community Building

Chloe is a museum educator with a passion for learning and a penchant for storytelling. She received a B.A. in Secondary Education with certificates in History and Biology as well as a B.A. in History from Idaho State University. Alongside her colleagues at the Museum of Idaho, she develops programs and exhibits for all ages. She believes in the power of uncovering the history and science of one’s own surroundings which has led her to find “home” in the wild stories and places of Idaho; she hopes to inspire others to create real connections with the places they live in a similar way. She currently serves as a board member of the Western Museum Association, and as a committee member for the Idaho Falls Sister Cities Advisory Committee. Outside of museums, she finds happiness in spending time with her artist husband, her two incredible kids, and playing the bass in a two-man band with her brother
