We received an update from Jedd Thomas, World Service Committee Member, Rotary Club of Pocatello, on the University Hospital Accra Ghana NICU Equipment Global Grant Project. The following is taken from his email message.
Again, your generous contribution to saving infant lives at the University Hospital-Legon NICU is so very much appreciated.
Next Steps and Timeline:
As of August 8 - The contract has been reviewed and signed, and the equipment has been delivered and is in process of being installed.
As of October 28 - The NICU equipment project is progressing. Accra Legon East Rotary Club members, including the Club President, visited the hospital where installation is currently ongoing. The Club members are looking forward to the commissioning of the equipment to the hospital on November 14. After installation, testing followed by training will be completed before the November 14 commissioning.
