Jeremy Green joined Idaho State University in December of 2024, as the Chief Campus Administrator for Eastern and Southern Idaho. This newly created position promotes the growth and development of the Idaho Falls and Twin Falls campuses by expanding relationships with faculty, staff, students, industry and education partners, and community constituents, as well as supporting academic program delivery, research support, community engagement, and campus operations.
Jeremy Green has nearly 20 years of higher education experience in outreach and engagement, community development, and branch campus administration. Most recently, he served as the director of the Central Oregon Community College (COCC) Madras campus while simultaneously working as the college’s capital projects manager. In these roles, Green led a $23 million campus expansion, bringing health careers and early childhood education programs to Madras, Oregon, and surrounding rural communities. While at COCC, Green led strategic initiatives to connect communities with college workforce development programs, served on COCC’s government relations team, and provided administrative and operational leadership for instructional, student support services and facilities management for two of COCC’s branch campuses.
Before his time at COCC, Green worked for Oregon State University (OSU) and the University of Wyoming. At OSU, he served as an associate professor in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences, working for the Cooperative Extension Service with a focus on connecting rural communities to research-based best practices in community youth development. At the University of Wyoming, Green served as an assistant professor in the College of Agriculture, the County Director of Cooperative Extension in Laramie County, Wyoming, and as the University’s Statewide Military Liaison for community youth development.
Green and his wife Daleena are the parents of three teenage children. As a family, they enjoy all things related to the outdoors, engaging with people, and serving their communities.
