Idaho Falls Rotary Club History
In 2018, the Rotary Club of Idaho Falls celebrated 100 years of Service Above Self!
The club, 380th of 33,000+, and its members have long been involved in nearly every charitable and non-profit activity in Idaho Falls and the region. Our membership of more than 130 helps us maintain a great cross-section of the community’s leaders.
Local Activities
Our best known endeavor is the Great Snake River Greenbelt Duck Race. Since 1991, this project has been raising money to help improve and grow the Greenbelt and River Walk, where the beautiful Snake River makes its way through the heart of town. Typical of our projects, the money raised has been leveraged through federal, state and local grants, as well as private donations. There are now nearly six miles of paved trail, a replica of the Taylor Toll Bridge and beautiful park amenities.

We are also involved in many smaller projects, from highway and River Walk cleanup to bell ringing for the Salvation Army during the holidays. Let us know if you are involved in a service activity you’d like to present to our club.
