Many times, when we step into new positions we ask, 'What am I supposed to do or what is expected of me?' Sometimes we are lucky enough to have someone who has filled the role to mentor us. However, that is not always the case. Did you know that RI has some great courses online to help you either prepare or review what your position does?
The courses are all self-paced and have a lot of great information. The courses are in the RI Learning Center. If you log into your My Rotary account at Rotary.org you will see a block in the middle of the page titled "Learning Center." Open that section and look for 'Club Leadership.' Once you are in that section you will see courses for club leadership positions. If your committee is not listed there is a general course titled "Leading an Effective Committee."
If you do not already have a My Rotary login it is easy to do. You will be asked to use the same email that you gave your club to use in Club Runner. Then select a password and you will be set.
