Avrey Hendrix is the founder of the Idaho Period Project, leading efforts to end period poverty and create period-positive communities across Idaho. She helped implement over 100 period-positive bathrooms in 42 schools across 12 counties and created the Period Pack Program, serving 1,500+ girls and women through schools and food banks. Avrey also secured partnerships with Blue Cross of Idaho to bring period education and systems to 40 community schools. When she’s not organizing volunteers, emails, or the annual EmpowHER gala, Avrey enjoys family life with her four children, nature, travel to Alberta and Nevada, and hunting for thrifted treasures.
