August is Membership month for Rotary International. We know that with more members we can do more to make positive impacts in our communities.
In the spirit of the summer Olympics, we have developed a gold medal award for the clubs who induct a new member during the month of August. Many of the events at the Olympics are team sports. If you consider your club as your team, then you are part of helping your team win a gold medal. Those clubs that induct a new member in August will be recognized in September and will receive their gold medal award.
You might be thinking ‘How can I help my team win a gold medal?’ Take the membership challenge of ‘Be One – Bring One.’ That is invite people to come and share the Magic of Rotary with you. Bring a friend, business associate, business customer, your cousin or anyone who you think might share your vision of a better future for your communities.
